I couldn't put this book down. It felt just like the author was sitting next to me telling me what happened. I cried during many of the parts of the book because I felt connected to the author and felt many emotions with and for her as I was reading. I had never thought about how horrific elder abuse could be, but I am so glad I am aware now because I don't want this to happen to any of my loved ones. I enjoyed this book so much that I loaned it to my mother and she read the book in one sitting too. I would highly recommend this book!
